The perfect speed for Capt. Slow. 10 mph.

So there's a slight correction I have. The "VIPER"s budget started going above the initial quoted budget, by some magnitude, and the buggy was halted from being developed farther. NASA is *STILL* working on going to the moon. That funding didn't stop, just the ground vehicle funding did.

The parking feature will be very helpful on the moon.

I appreciate the sound effects from the USS Discovery in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey

this video made me appreciate this machine more.

honestly the ending was very sad, such a shame this will probably never get to drive on the moon.

If anyone is curious, this was released in 2011, so Obama would've been president.

Of course this is May's favorite car, as he's not being chastised for going slowly!

No.

kg is a unit of mass, which is independent of gravity. What changes is the weight *force*, from around 39, 240 Newtons (8, 822 lbs) to 6, 480 N (1, 457 lbs). Funny that the imperial measurement system doesn't have an equivalent for mass (pounds/lbs is for the force).

And, of course, James said "kg" because it's more intuitive and generally understandable than Newtons (fun at parties, etc.).
