Absolute nihilist here. Also nihilism is about recognizing for what the world, the universe and all of existence truly is: ABSOLUTE MEANINGLESSNESS. Not about depressing, sadness nor misery, no those are just the after effects to people who are not knowledgeable or have strong minds to deal with nihilism.

Recovering Nihilist here - the other nihilists are coping and I am still recovering from the depressive tendencies I acquired in those lost years. I've converted to Catholicism and still draw heavily from the existentialists and the stoics for a positive outlook, but I do believe myself to be permanently damaged by my previous nihilism.
