How to Find Your Steam Id

This tutorial shows you how to locate your Steam ID.

In this tutorial you are going to learn how to find Steam ID this is a unique number that identifies you when you are playing online. This is not a number you have chosen.

Step # 1 -- Navigating to Your Steam Profile

Start Steam and you will see several tabs at the top of the page, one of which is the start of your email address. Hover your mouse over this and in the menu that appears click "Profile".

Step # 2 -- Copying a URL with the Information

A page will appear with all your user information. Right click anywhere on the page and in the menu that appears you need to click "Copy Page URL". Now, you'll need to paste this information somewhere -- here we are just using Notepad.

Step # 3 -- Viewing Your Steam ID

Paste the link we just copied into Notepad and you will see a long number at the end of a web address. This is your Steam ID and that is how to find Steam ID.
