The video is very misleading. Firstly, gems come from destroying cards, emojis, etc. Then to sell the gems, you have to have enough to pack into a sack, then sell the sack. Plus, you don't just randomly get them, you have to PLAY the games to earn cards. And not all games earn cards. Most of the time, selling the raw cards is more profitable than selling the gems you get from them. And it's not free money, either, since you had to own the games. A $50 game might earn you 3 cards, which could net you 3 cents on the market.

For anyone wondering why they don't have it or why they can't verify their acc is because you have a locked account. To unlock your account you need to spend 5 dollars on steam credit or games then after that you just need to play games and sell your trading cards which sells super quickly idk why ppl even buy this lol but its free money so whatever.

The trading cards are more worth it to sell on their own than using gems. Some types of cards go for 20-30 cents depending on game. Most will run at 1-3 cents tho (what you get not actual price. Actual price would be 3-7 cents).

On CSGO tho, the more you spend on the game (on cases or keys or such) the more trading cards you get. While you still lose money this way, you can still sell the trading cards on the market for a couple pennies. I sold most of my trading cards and bought a key for CS for it 🤷🏼‍♂️

I do have like 50 games played tho. And some of those cards were going for 20-30 cents.

Also, some games give out emotes or other content as rewards that you may or may not be able to sell. Rust gives you a few items as well that you can sell.
