It's so fascinating how Charles was both a victim of his family's cold-heartedness and elitism against the woman he loved, and the guilty party in his destruction of Diana's life. Abuse is a cycle indeed.

Elizabeth’s confrontation with her uncle is my favorite moment on the show. Claire Foy is incredible.

Churchill saying: "God save the Queen" for the first time always gave me chills

"Pride and Joy" is one of the quieter episodes, but it's definitely up there. Kirby and Foy are incredible when they act together.

Aberfan was a rough episode to watch. Good, but heart-wrenching.

Tywysog Cymru has got to be my favorite. Josh O'Connor really shines there and gives a level of depth and complexity to Prince Charles that I definitely did not expect going into it. His monologue at the end when he's dressed as a king is one of the best moments on the show.

I personally love 48:1. The prologue with Claire Foy back as a Young Elizabeth, along with a young Margaret Thatcher perfectly setting up their rivalry throughout the episode. And in their meeting at Buckingham Palace, you understand how their upbringings shaped who they are. Thatcher grew up with nothing and had to work hard and be self-reliant in order to become the successful and powerful woman she is who is. Whereas Elizabeth, while privileged, traveled around the world and immersed herself in different cultures and people. It was a brilliant episode in my opinion.

My bias is Hyde Park Corner. It's where everything started and that haunting scene where Queen Mary curtsies to the new Elizabeth Regina gave me chills and had stuck to me ever since.

“The Crown must win. Must always win.” One of my favorite quotes of Queen Mary of Teck!

What about “Margeretology”.
Helena Bonham Carter’s portrayal of Princess Margaret has to be my favorite!

Absolutely love this show. So well written. One of my all-time favorite episodes is S1x10 Gloriana. Especially when Elizabeth has to break Margaret's heart and tell her she can't marry Townsend. The heartbreak in Elizabeth's voice and the look of devastation in Margaret's face. Claire Foy and Vanessa Kirby were brilliant in their roles.

Assassins is definitely one of my favorites. I love Churchill as a character. It really gave John Lithgow a lot of time to shine. His conversation with Graham Sutherland was one of its highlights, as well as their confrontation after the reveal of the portrait. The dialogue is top-notch too, lots of memorable moments in that episode.

Okay since no one is talking about it, “Beryl” was plain beautiful and painful. Margaret’s desire to have someone to marry and settle down with even though she knew nothing about Tony. Her whole life has been a tragedy after Peter and that last scene when her almost naked photo was in newspaper and she was dancing to “I Only Have Eyes For You”, for once in her life feeling alive again. Vanessa was mesmerizing.

That scene in the Dear mrs Kennedy episode, where the queen finds out what Jackie been saying about her behind her back, is pure gold. Probably the best acting I've seen and it gets me every time I rewatch it. She says it all without speaking. Brilliant.
