Philip making fun of Elizabeth's hair is one of the funniest scenes in the show. Mainly because she handled it like a champ and didn't sulk in the corner about it. She stayed true to herself. That said, while I do agree that Phillip could've been a little nicer about it, I think married couples should be that honest with each other. If I was wearing an outfit or did my hair a certain way that my husband didn't think was flattering, I'd want him to tell me. "I don't think that look does anything for you"...that sort of thing.
