VirtualBox – Black screen in Linux

Blank screen after start or after resizing the virtual Linux machine.
I recently had the problem, that my virtual Linux machine had a black screen after I installed the guest additions. This happens on my Surface device right after logging in, on my other computer after I resized the screen to a bigger size.

i reinstalled ubuntu in VM, but only now able to resolve my issue, thanks Man.
