Well, I grew up in the 80’s… I had a good run of not fearing nuclear holocaust… guess I’m back to worrying again?

If it will not be deployed until 2027, how is it already missing?

That thing sortied from it's dock with the US NAVY stuck to it's ass!

It's a sub, not a sandwich. It is supposed to be stealthy and go missing 🙂 Oh no, the Americans can't find it, it is just not fair! 🙁

If its Russian made, It MIGHT be unstoppable but it is most likely UNSTARTABLE!🤣

They might as well rename it Kursk II, given their track record.

Most likely sunk itself just like most Russian subs.

It's also a deathtrap. Seen what the CIA had on her in 2017. I'm formerly with NAVSEA and welded on submarines. Boilermaker local Union leader and top step welder. Had to retire a few years ago. Health problems. Before I retired, was part of a team of welders and fitters, other codes looking at pictures of their workmanship and engineering. Ask us to critique what they had. We're the Gold Star standard when it comes to naval shipbuilding. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery Me. I was a Submarine Fixer.

Big Fat DeathTrap.

Piping is a rat's nest in some areas, MAJOR Welding workmanship issues in some very critical areas. Biggest over engineered and mis-managed whale in history. Can't go under 25m without problems by our estimates as I recall, and the deep she goes, the worse they get.

I pity the crew who has to run that POS. Like all of Russian naval platforms. It's a mess.

Tsunamis are not directional but an attack will provoke a counter attack.

They''ve been describing Russian/Soviet gear as "unstoppable" since the 1950s, and it all turns out to be crap.

Somewhere between 30, 000 tons? That doesn’t even make any sense 😂

2 things:

If you had a weapon that was a game changer, why would you announce it?

If you had the ability to track the weapon, why would you let the maker know you can track it?

There's a lot going on that we will never know
