Brits try INSANE Banana Pudding!

Moved to the states and went to a church dinner. Three types of banana pudding were available. I reached for one and an elderly lady rapped my hand with a spoon and said, "not that one, this one". I took some as directed and she said " those two are from a box, I wouldn't do that to my family!". It was sooo delicious.

Vanilla wafers- little round cookies used for the banana pudding desert and sliced bananas of course.
Make the long cooking banana pudding and line the sides and bottom with vanilla wafers-
Fill dish with the wafers, any way you want to that’s best for you. Cool whip on top or make meringue to use on top.

Everytime I see these guys, the cute one on the left, makes me so happy. His excitement after trying American meals is so cute. It makes me wanna offer him a greecard just for the food 😂😂 I'd love to see them try Puerto Rican / Cuban food. (different from Mexican food!)

We don’t really put sprinkles on ours. Actually I’ve never seen anyone do that. Whipped cream usually goes inside the pudding so we don’t put it on the top either. But I don’t find that weird to put some on top. The sprinkles is the only weird part.

If you buy a properly made banana pudding, it is the bomb.
Its one of my absolute favorite desserts. Especially in the summer time. Banana cream pie is excellent as well.

Served warm, made from scratch with nilla wafers lining the baking dish. Add a thin whipped egg whites meringue on top lightly browned or serve unadorned. It's the one and only sweet my father would eat.
