How To Fix "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service" Error On Windows

System File Checker (SFC) is a utility in Microsoft Windows that allows users to scan for and restore corruptions in Windows system files.
The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files, and replace corrupted files with a cached copy that is located in a compressed folder at %WinDir%\System32\dllcache.
The %WinDir% placeholder represents the Windows operating system folder.
For example, C:\Windows.

when I tried again this time it took some time but it actually worked
you just have to wait for a bit, but it will actually work and not just pause there

Not only you have to follow step for sfc but you have to fix the sfc command!

how about mine? It slowly scans until get to 45% then crashed.

finally was able to start it by typing cmd in run right clicked on the little black thumbnail....then.run as administrator
