One of my favorite home owner purchases has been a headlamp haha. It helps so much with all this kind of nonsense like seeing what you are doing under the sink. If the shower head does leak ever - plumbers tape or whatever it’s called will help a ton. It’s easy!

Yay for the wins! I had a major win on my semi-rural property yesterday. After 10 years living here we finally found a plumber that was an expert in water collection (from the roof), filtration and water pumps. And yesterday he fully replaced our water pump with THREE filters and we now have twice the water pressure we had and its CLEAN and safe. Prior to this we could only find plumbers who were willing to do basic stuff like hot water cylinder repairs etc and my husband who's an engineer was keeping the water pump going. No one else in my life (who live in town) understands just how much a quality of life improvement this is.

For a great seal, try some teflon plumbers tape over the threads of your shower joints. Kitchen sink joints too. PS - love your typed lists!

It seems a lot of youtubers don't fix little things around their house because so much of their energy and time goes to doing house things that they can make neat lil videos about. But I do really enjoy going on little side quests with my favourite home youtubers and tackling a list of things like you just did, it's relaxed and relatable and we still get to hang out with you and even learn a few things or get inspired to do it too! So if you have more things to fix around the house (who doesn't hehe) I'd be delighted to keep following along!

Not going to lie. Paused midway through the shower head installation and sprinted to my bathroom. I have been wanting one of those shower heads, but I am in a rental, so I assumed it wouldn't be an easy rental friendly upgrade. Thank you 🎉🎉🎉

Teflon tape for the threads on showerhead, and faucet fittings. Plumbers putty to seal the faucet/sink contact point. And a Basin Wrench to get in the tight spots to tighten/loosen your faucet connections under sink. 👍
