Some observations:

** The fact that it was Putin who went around the entire table to shake everyone's hand instead of "forcing" the delegates to come to him to shake his hand demonstrates a high level of respect and humility.

** It's a round table meeting versus multiple "opposing" tables, or even a parlimentary set-up of a main desk and multiple subordinate desks. This was very likely intentional to signify unity and equality.

** It's a recorded work meeting and not backroom deals with a "show" press event.

** Putin is beaming with happiness.
