In the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, foreign policy strategists continue to debate what motivates Russian President Vladimir Putin and what could be his endgame. Not far behind are concerns about Chinese President Xi Jinping and whether developments in Europe will reverberate in the Far East. What do Putin and Xi have in common? What brings them together, and conversely, what might drive them apart? Will Taiwan be the next Ukraine? What lessons might be learned from China’s crackdown on the pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong?

What a one sided conversation.
I like to hear the other side and have a lively debate rather than only looking at this all important geopolitical event only through the prism of pro western mindset.

I hope your audience realizes that "grievance" for humiliation is at the heart of our current western social movements. The privileged and dominant cultures often don't appreciate how powerful resentment for past grievances can motivate. I think of our times with humility. Let's not forget the grievances many have in America.

💯👍 a minor gripe would be to have included experts from other countries that could become a factor down the line ie. Iran, North Korea etc
