I eat around 5 in the afternoon, meat of some kind, sometimes a few eggs, a salad, non starchy vegetables and as much as I want until I reach satiety. Then nothing but coffee with a little cream and pure stevia in it until around 5 the next afternoon. I do move that eating window around though to earlier or later by an hour or so, depending on how hungry I feel. A year ago I weighed 268 lbs. Now I weigh 212 and I’m 68 years old. I don’t have much saggy skin because of the autophagy I get every day. I eat no grains or added sugar and no highly processed foods and everything is eaten in a short window.

People don't need to eat much anyway. You won't die and not eating won't impact anything other than good health

I fasted for 20/4 and in a 5 day period I lost 13lb, I ate only vegetables and potatoes!
Do it in stages, 12/12 then 16/8 then 18/6 then 20/4, easy your way into this I stated eating a 4pm stoped at 8pm!

I don't need to make effort to fast ! I have proteins as first thing for my breakfast l. Keeps me stable, satiated, filled and energized for 12 hrs !" Only have a small snack late evening & I am done.
Lost 90 pounds, reversed fatty liver, reduced LDL by 80%, cut all belly visceral fat, developed muscle tone and now I do mixed workouts for almost 3 hrs a day. I poop better, sleep better, think better and far more active now.
No effort- fasting happens naturally !

This is great because we usually are done with dinner by 6 and eat breakfast around 7 which is 13 hours.

He's not wrong that 16 hours or longer can be a bit complicated with other people in the house, or when on vacation, for example. But it's worth it if you can make that schedule work.

Yes, good to hear this advice!!... I have found it very hard to squeeze eating into the 8 hour period.

Iv never eaten breakfast
But iv been put down told I should be eating breakfast. Not even as a child could I eat breakfast and I was never Iver weight EVER. I still can't wat when I get up. It's around lunchtime I get hungry.

I will usually have breakfast and coffee about half an hour after I wake up because after that I will poop. And after I poop I prefer to shower. I don’t like to poop after I have showered. And it’s important that I poop when it’s ready to come out otherwise a half cleared poop will ruin my entire day! 🤣 You can always eat anytime of the day but you can’t poop anytime you like 😂

I guess I have very poor lifestyle. I eat dinner about 8:30 (which takes anout 30 minutes) and then I don't eat again until dinner time comes around again. Try to include Extra Virgin Olive Oil in or on everything I eat. Lately I'm adding garlic to most dishes. Trying to eat fish or chicken most all meals. Of course lots of green or brightly colored stuff (blueberries, watermellon, etc.). Drinking lots of green tea and startng to drink coffee.
Of course no fried food or bread/pasta and no sugar or dairy. I try to stay below 1000 calories a day. Weight steady for last 6 months at level that keep my cardiologist happy.
I like what I eat (even if is a bit boreing) and with this diet I will probably not live too long. But who cares? I'm 80 years old and so I'm going to eat whatever and whenever I please. 😎
