Random Enter The Gungeon Facts - Infuriating Notes on Nintendo Switch #shorts

Hey! I’m JeuelyFish, let's talk about a random fact from Enter The Gungeon. If you’ve gotten pretty far into the secrets of the Gungeon, you might know about the 6 infuriating notes that you can collect.

And you probably also know that you can reference those notes in the Ammonomicon to see which directions you should follow while in the resource rats maze to correctly navigate to the end and fight the rat in a boss battle.

But did you know that, for whatever reason, the sequence of directions is always randomly generated in every saved-file of the game except for Nintendo Switch players. They always have the same sequence in every instance of the game.

In other words, for everyone else who doesn’t play the game on a switch your correct directions in the maze are random. However, if you're on the switch the sequence of the maze and notes are always down, right, down, up, down, up

This random fact is pretty weird, but maybe its useful? Either way, thanks for watching and I’ll catch you later!

They really made all Nintendo players have the same sequence and didn't make it "up, up, down, down, left, right"

Last month I had read this little fact on the EtG wiki and tried to do it still missing 2 of the 6 letters (currently I have all of them). The funny thing about this that the wiki doesn't mention is that once you arrive with the rat, He will ask with surprise how we got there since it is statistically almost impossible in this situation to get in there (something very similar, not exact words).

must be that the switch starts breathing through a tube if it has to start generating more numbers

I guess it was a way that the Switch was able to run Gungeon in the first place, by cutting down on the code required to generate the sequence

Feels great to be mentioned as one of the few stadia players

I think it may be a reference to the legend of Zelda for the NES. Specifically the lost woods!

...interesting. On the game 'Nuclear Thrones' apparently the mutation (rng) seed always starts the same and then it occasionally rngs.

I had it memorized but never know this was switch exclusive.

You just low-key told me that my favorite YouTuber is a switch player like me😂. I just thought he had he same code by accident or same spinda pattern levels of coincidence

As a Switch player, thank you, I shall now be able to go to the place where I will get my ass handed to me much quicker and more consistently.

Interesting, my best guess is that it's some sort of weird Nintendo policy about other copies of the same game having static differences. Kinda funny to think about if you take the Mario 64 personalization hoax into consideration lol
