Random Enter The Gungeon Facts - Brown Chests #shorts

Hi, Jeuelyfish here with a random gungeon fact. You may already know that there are a lot of types of chests out there. And you may already know that the 5 basic color chests represent the quality or tier of item that you’ll receive from opening that particular chest. For example, Black chests have S tier items, Red Chests have A tier, Green have B, Blue have C, and last (but maybe not least) is the lowest quality Brown chest with D tier quality items.

But did you know that Brown chests are unique in that they have a significantly high chance of also having a “pick up” item (such as Keys, Blanks, Hearts, Armor, etc) with their D tier item? This may be enough reason to prefer them over Blue chests, given a particular situation.

Also, it’s never happened to me personally, but brown chests can also be what are known as “brownbow” chests. Which are rainbow chests that are disguised as brown chests. Here’s an example of one that a redditor recorded. Link in the description below.

...brownbow cheasts.... I have the saddest story of being on a rainbow run, me beating the R&G department, boss drops two cheasts, blue and brown, blue has bowler on it, so i break it, than my reflexses break the brown cheast.... And i discover a hidden rainbow cheast, just imaganae that, haveing the luck to geta rainbow cheast on a rainbow run AND it being a disguised one

Brown chests also have a higher chance of being glitched, but the chance is still extremely low

I mean, after 100% completing the game, brown chests are worth opening just for the small chance to get the finished gun. But knowing this makes them even Granted, if you're still playing after 100% completion, then it's just for fun at that point, but my statement still stands.

After checking brown chest item pool, i have come to conclusion that players are stoopid for not opening them.

I think if you have a water item such as the mega douser you can check if it’s a brownbow chest by getting it wet, i’ve never encountered one though so I cannot confirm

i always go for browns just for the chance it could be rainbow. still hasn't happened.

Brown chests also have a high drop rate of the finished gun, and that gun is hilariously strong.

Just so you know, any S-D tier chest can be a rainbow chest. The Gungeon Wiki is really informative

I've got a brownbow chest once.It was pretty shocking to say.Also brown chests are legit because of "Complete Gun"(I forgot its name but it was something like this).

In my first few runs (10-20) i had a brownbow chest... i had no idea what that was until now lol!
