I hope they still release a Revolver, Rubber Soul, and all the previous Beatles' albums that already have turned 50 in a new stereo mixing.

Why would the EMI police (or other) have an issue with a presentation and clips recorded with a microphone in a reverberant room and for informative and educational purposes? This is beyond crazy! Thank you Michael for taking the time to post this!

Thank you for re-posting this Michael! Even without the musical examples, to hear Giles talk about the project is enough indeed!

Can't wait for this to be released. I love everything The Beatles. I wish they would remix my favorite album Revolver one day. Songs like For No One would greatly benefit from that. In the original mix the piano, clavinet and drums are so cramped in the right channel.

The music is out now, would like to see this in it's entirety if that's possible. Music intact.

Sort of loses the point Giles is trying to make because we can't hear what he is describing - damn licensing rules...we can imagine what he is saying though. I'm going to fill in the blanks when i get the new Peppers. Love the section where he is trying to demonstrate Lennon voice and he plays a section of Paul's

You can use your imagination to fill in the gaps. Still a useful video. Thanks for the post!

What I freaking joke. I can't add anything else that hasn't already been said. Not your fault, AP.

At the end was that a sneak peek at the box set? Led Zep was loud!!!

how is use of those fragments of song not protected as a "fair use" under the copyright act?

This is amazing!!! Would you be able to upload it to Dropbox or any other storage provider so everyone can enjoy this wonderful video!? Maybe even Vimeo?

I hope it won't be as compressed as the 1 2015 release.

Is there any way i can get the full video without the copyright cuts?

In the current form, this video is basically unlistenable, at least in large parts where Giles demonstrates what the remixing accomplished. This is not a criticism of the time you took to post and edit the video--I definitely appreciate your work. I suggest you take it down until you secure permission from the rights holders to post it with the music intact.

If you can run entire recordings on the episodes where you demonstrate turntables where you told me that copyright no longer applies because YouTube now pays royalties like a streaming service, why can't you run the music on this video? I'm really confused!

There should be no need to censor this. Fair use, for sure.
