Maria ain’t forgotten, nor is charmy.

Jet is when compared to them though, given he appears in just riders, black knight, mobile games/spin-offs, and comics.

Compared to charmy who is in everything with the chaotix, who are VERY popular characters, and Maria, who is in nearly everything shadow is in.

The examples you used were good here but I’m still REELING from the opening cause what is gamerant smoking to say Maria is a forgotten character when not only is she in the spotlight as of late again but SA2 is LITERALLY one of the most beloved Sonic games of all time, and she is a reason why. Saying charmy and jet are forgotten is also ridiculous even if well outside of the comics Sega sure forgot about jet but MARIA???

I love the mention of no one remembering the pre-reboot characters-literally the ONLY REASON I remember the Egg Bosses is thanks to Maw, because Thylacines are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ANIMAL. There's also a CARACAL (or maybe Lynx?? I've never been sure on Storm's species) AND ORCA [2 of my other fav animals] in that group. Egg Bosses I adore you.

Johnny from Sonic Rush Adventure (I think Marine is more known than him)
