Zoom was more than fast enough to make a speed mirage. Even barry did in the earlier parts of season 2 when zoom was kicking his ass. He meant he wasn’t fast enough to run across two earths to create a mirage on both earths.
For everyone saying it was a time remnant, Barry literally created a speed mirage when fighting Dr Light. It was said to be a speed mirage and very clearly not a remnant.

Season one was the best, it had a tense atmosphere while also having amazing comedy, good mystery, good acting and there wasnt a kissing scene every 5 seconds. After Iris found out that Barry was the flash i kinda was bummed out cuz now Barry focuses on Iris so much

The moment I fully knew reverse flash was too fast was in the fight with Barry, a speedster, he had a speed mirage going. You have to understand this, this means he was running back and forth that entire chase while also moving forward. And at some point he even went separate streets, holy hell reverse flash was a monster

Edit: many people arw saying its a time duplicate but here's a reminder the reverse flash could not travel in time in season 1, if he could, season 1 wouldn't have happened at all since all he wanted was to get back home, which needed Barry to open the wormhole for him. He's seen trying to travel through time and failing by himself, which is why he created the flash. And in the season 5 fight too that's a mirage. Ever seen a speedster fuse with a remnant? Nope. Reverse flashes entire thing is being better than Barry, and that time he literally fought Nora and Barry across the city separately by running from one to the other so fast they saw two of them, which is what a mirage is
