Hello Marquis.
Thank you very much for sharing this! Really helpful. Can I just ask what is you opinion on tasks that are to be closed in a sprint but, for some reason, are not? Do you multi-home them in both Sprints or remove them from the first one? How dou you handle this situation?
Thank you!!

Hi Marquis, thanks for the great video. Question for you: I am building a new product, so I have hundreds of user stories. In your example, would your stories be more like epics? Seems like this approach could be tedious if I had to make a label for every story ("Story 1", "Story 2", ... "Story 150"). Or is that just what I need to do?

Hey Marquis, I'd be interested to get your thoughts on how an agency that has multiple clients and team members working across multiple clients would use Asana to operate Scrum. Is there a backlog per client on one large backlog with a client name custom field? Is there a sprint project per client or one sprint with all client work in it? How would stories work in these instances? Each client is going to have stories that are different from others. Should you have a [Client name} Story custom field or just lump them all into one custom field? Thanks for any feedback or resources you're able to provide.

Hi Marquis, thanks for the video. I wish i could do what you just did with this project but i feel that you made big steps for more Asana and PM native person. Do you have or know how can i get to that Asana level but in a more step by step (when you don't understand quite well rules and templates)?
Again, tks for the video

Great video, definitely helped me to fill in some gaps with how I was setting up my sprint boards. One area I'm still trying to figure out: how do you leverage the templates / portfolios for reporting on sprint success? Specifically, tracking items completed that sprint vs items that have to push to the next sprint? Is there an easy way to leverage the data points collected through this set up to generate reports for communicating sprint results? In the past I've used a lot of manual data manipulation to get metrics, trying to streamline that portion of it.

Do you use SCRUM for all of your marketing processes? We launch an online certification course a few times a year, and I wondered if SCRUM, Kanban, or Waterfall would work best.

are the items in the backlog a task for each story? and the STORY SECTION is just for documentation purposes only so we know what are the stories? sorry i'm struggling to understand how they differ from each other cause the story section looks like a backlog as well. Thanks! 🥹

I have a hard time seeing this translate well for those of us who project/product manage physical products. Asana aside, do stories or scrum for that matter work well with consumer goods industries?

Nice tutorial Marquis! I've gone through both Jira and Asana for Scrum Project Management. In my opinion, I find myself biased towards Jira as it seems to have native support for Agile Scrum project management. Have you had a chance to compare Jira and Asana for the same Scrum process?

One important aspect that I am not sure how to tackle through ASANA is to maintain EPICs and Release versions and its relation with User Stories and tasks.

Great video Marquis! I’m new to your channel and you’ve won a new subscriber! ….. question: for the scenario in your video, what Asana pricing tier do you need? I see you set up automations and other stuff that I’m just not sure anyone in the lower prices tiers could try out. Also, is there a way to see the sprint board in columns? Like a kanban view?

Thank you for an interesting video. I've been trying to crack the Asana for Scrum code.

I've been trying to work out how to make this all make sense. I'm really unhappy with the fact you need to create a field "story number" to have something tying the tasks together. I think that does not really work at scale and I'm really struggling with managing sprints with items from product backlog + maintenance items.

I admire your approach to try and make Asana work for Scrum/Agile but in my opinion they are not really trying to make the solution work for software development teams.
