Lawyers react to shocking daycare video

Video of daycare employees using a Halloween mask to scare little children has gone viral.

This is considered serious mental harm to a child. In Mississippi, it’s child abuse in the first degree, if it’s intentional, which it clearly was. It is a felony in that state, and carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

this makes me sick, I would press charges and sue no doubt, working parents have enough guilt about leaving their children, and leaving them in charge with incompetent people is traumatic enough without seeing their babies terrified and being startled The workers need to do their job and pick up the toy’s themselves, that is child care work, you weirdos

The way these workers intentionally scared these small children is disgusting and disturbing. There isn't anything funny about frightening children. I hope they do prosecute them. They are bullying these children.

I found out that the woman in the scream mask and the person who filmed the video both got fired from their jobs. I mean, why would someone come to work with that mask on the face and scare precious children at a daycare facility?!
