Are there plans to make the emboss tool work on double curved surfaces?

While I applaud the addition of a thin extrude, I couldn't help but feel disappointed with the fact that only closed profiles can be used. The whole point of having a thin extrude should be to allow for creation of thin walls by essentially just sketching lines. This would be especially useful for creating heat fins for instance. Limiting this feature to closed profiles doesn't make sense to me at all.

I understand that we have a web command where we can sketch lines and the command would automatically thicken the wall for us. The command works well within enclosures where there are walls bounding the ribs. I have tried creating fins using the web command but the workflow is not intuitive. This is really a missed opportunity to make the thin feature a great command.

Please create a command for equation-driven curves with cartesian, polar, and parametric coordinate systems. Great update, as always!

3:24 You know, that the dimension 102.5 is missing the second horizontal line (the upper one).
Is this bug reported?
