Lol... wait... product design extension? The entire premise of Fusion 360 is to have the entire product design process in one app. That is how you made the subscription sales. But now, that core functionality, is being spun out into a paid extension...

It would be as if Autocad had a paid extension for drawing cad...

What we really need is a frame generator and a decent BOM addin. 👌

Tabs and bossing details in Product Design Extension? Sure, that seems reasonable.

Geometric Pattern in Product Design Extension? Infuriating 😡

I think geometric pattern should be included in regular licence!

Nice new features. Shame they’re an extension. I already pay a yearly subscription… now if I want access to new features I have to pay even more. Fantastic.

I get the sneaking suspicion that Autodesk has been changing its paradigm from being run by engineers to being run by accountants. Fusion 360 is still the best bang for the buck around, both compared to cheaper and more expensive solutions. But with this update, you're leaving the door wide open.

If snap-fit and boss was free for subscribers and education it would be OK. But right now, if any other company shows the visionary thinking that gave birth to Fusion in the first place, then Fusion would be an easy target.

I heard that there is another NEW EXTENSION called ( Speed boost extension ) which will make fusion 360 work at normal computer speeds instead of the slow cloudy speeds we currently have.

Sweet Mumma! There are some great stuff in this update! Hey with that volumetric lattice-ing, can I perform static evaluations on those structures? Will this allow me to evaluate the limits of a 3D printed structure more accurately?

Looks amazing, but sadly not relevant for me and my lab team since it seems the Product Design Extension isn't available for edu-user.

Don't be so excited.... They are going to take all of Your money... Wow new features? Awesome, pay extra money for that. Fusion was mentioned to small startups etc but their business strategy have change, for same money and functions we can have Inventor which have better satbility and performance. All what You show works great but only on movies, in real live when You want to create bigger assembly You have to.... Wait and wait. Honestly every update make me more and more angry
