In the case of infinte extended conducting plate the value of electric field is= sigma /epsilon. Then electric field within the 2nd region should be
E=2*sigma /epsilon
Why E=sigma /epsilon?

At 5:07 there’s a mistake V is not a vector instead E and d are there dot product gives V. In a constant electric field Edcos0 = V.
