RIP Kobe. Watching you play was some of the best times of my life. I also am a Jordan fan all of the way and hated the Lakers until Kobe joined. Couldnt stop watching him play. It was like God gave us another MJ to Watch.

He was also a hardcore intellectual people tend to forget. He spoke multiple languages, read extensively, and even made a short documentary about the love of basketball

What makes Kobe stand out from all others, was his cultural impact. He might have been the most intelligent player of the game. It showed in his creativity.

Kobe is a legend competed against legends from 80's, 90's, 2000's, 2010's, and saw the first wave of 2020's players

R.I.P kobe bean Bryant at first I didn't except you as a great player when you were a rookie plus I had the Jordanitist and wasn't ready to move on and didn't care much about basketball afterwards. Plus I felt that everything was given to you on a silver platter by having Shaq on your team. And I was like who wouldn't win with Shaq. But when you showed me you were great and clinched 2 more rings without Shaq and in the fashion you did I instantly had respect and love for your game, and I'm proud to say I witnessed it all from beginning to end and I tip my hat off to you and I prey you rest in peace and may God bless you and your daughter and the other's who lost their lives tragically. Much love from Louisiana.

Kobe Bryant 8/24 is my favorite player and very competitive. He never cheated the game of basketball. I wrote a poem about him throughout his career especially his Oscar winning trophy 🏆. Last words on the court“What can I say Mamba out!” 🐍 💜💛.

One of the most beautiful open court fast break dunks was when Kobe dunked on Vincent Yarbrough of the Denver Nuggets……THING OF BEAUTY

I am a die hard Suns fan.. i remember when my Suns were the two seed playing the 7 seed Lakers in 2006.. everyone was picking the Suns to win in four or five... I remember telling everyone that would "but they have Kobe Bryant!".. to most, including all the sports analysts, it didn't matter, the Suns were so much better as a team.. but I knew better. Kobe Bryant at that time was the most dangerous player in the NBA.. going into that series, I was terrified. I thought that the Suns could be the first two seed to lose to a seven seed in decades. And I was right almost, Kobe Bryant darn near won that series all by himself, took the Suns to 7 games! Kobe Bryant was the second most clutch player (Jordan being first) I've ever witnessed with my eyes. In my humble opinion, he is the second greatest basketball player in history. I know there is a Jordan vs LeBron debate.. but I agree with Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson, y'all just going to pass Kobe Up!?! If I wanted to win a game 7 with all the chips on the line, I take Kobe over LeBron 10 out of 10 times. Kobe Bryant is an assassin... Not only is he the second greatest player that ever lived, but I don't think it's even close. LeBron James is definitely top five, but he ain't no Kobe.. as a Suns fan, I never once feared LeBron James like I did Kobe Bryant.

Can't say enough about how Kobe and his Mamba Mentality impacted my life.
Shaq and KG's comments were brilliant. Massive respect to a man and player that worked all day, every day to achieve what he demanded from himself.

100% agree. RIP!!! MJ is my childhood hero/player but Kobe being 1 year younger than myself is my 2nd favorite. Especially after MJ retired. I watched Kobe just as hard and as much as I did MJ. Thank you Lord for blessing us and giving us Kobe for the time he was here on earth. Still hard to believe…
