Yeaaa victories! And love how you're using the Count of Monte Cristo as a reward - that can only be done with the best of the best. I hope your November reading has been going just as well as October!

What a great reading month you've had, Alba! Evicted is such an amazing book. I love narrative nonfiction books on the social sciences. Desmond did such a fantastic job showing the common thread that connect us despite our different socioeconomic positioning while lifting the veil on poverty in such an honest, honest way. Signing in Puerto Rico sounds really, really fascinating and a really unique life perspective. I hope you have a fantastic week! ❤

Congratulations on finally finishing Mill on the Floss..!! Yes, it is a difficult, dense and rewarding read - and i am so thrilled that you enjoyed it! And i think i am the only one who loved the ending..!! 😂 of the rest, I would like to read Evicted, as it is relevant to our local housing problems here in El Paso. Yeah, humor is a very personal thing. Interesting that you are loving Count of Monte Crisco so much. Great..!! Thank you for the great video discussion.

Hi Alba. You had a wonderful October. Wow. I haven't read The Mill on the Floss. Now I want to. And you deserve all the new subscribers.

I want to reread Evicted at some point too. I really need to incorporate rereading into my life in a more structured way. I totally agree with you on Emma. I am not a fan!

I still haven’t read either _Middlemarch_ or _The Mill on the Floss._ I’m a complete fraud.

Trying to read El Club Dante but it is going very slowly...partly because periods of gore offset by periods of boredom.
