Kate Mulgrew really did a great job narrating N0S4A2! I’d recommend Heart-Shapes Box. Also Joe Hill’s short stories.

I was thinking of reading The Realms of the Elderlings series afterWoT. Not sure. Like WoT, t’s pretty daunting. 😂

Sush agrees about how good the audiobook for And the Trees Crept In was. And yay for finishing The Wheel of Time this year (also, for reaching 4K subscribers)!

I've had the Ruins on my shelf for soooo long, I really need to read it! NOS4A2 was in my top 3 books for 2019, loved it!

The movie The Ruins from 2008 is also very good although i haven’t read the book so don’t know if the storylines match but the premise sounds the same.

I agree with your review of The Hero of Ages! I finished it a few days ago and it was an awesome finale, very heartbreaking, and probably the best book of this trilogy! I saw that other Mistborn books were published since. I'll discover them, but since I already read many books of Brandon Sanderson (notably The Reckoners trilogy and Stormlight archive), I also want to read other authors :) And I really must read The Priory of the Orange Tree!

I love the Wheel of Time series and have just started my first reread of it. You should check out the audiobooks as the narrators are great. Are you keeping up with all the casting information being released?

I don’t know if you would be interested in a graphic novel series but Joe Hill wrote Locke and Key and it was amazing. I think they are also making it a TV series as well.

Such a fab list. I'm putting The Ruins on my horror TBR as I want to try and read more of that this year!

You should check out Joe Hill's The Fireman. The audiobook is also narrated by Kate Mulgrew (Capt. Janeway from Voyager). (m)

Yes! I loved loved loved Hero of Ages.

I've had Nos4a2 on my tbr but knowing Kate Mulgrew narrates the audiobook bumps it up my list. She voices one on my favorite video game characters 😅

Even though I didn’t love the Mistborn series, I really enjoyed Hero of Ages. The ending is so intense and emotional, and not exactly what you expect out of a YA fantasy! It felt so satisfying for Vin’s story to end it how she did.

It's cool to see how you've been getting into horror! I really loved Priory of the Orange Tree as well.

What a great year that you had. I, too, had a great year for reading. Thanks for the WoTalong . It I s the reason that I got introduced to your channel. I hope this year is even better.

I think you should still include your re-reads for ranking purposes as if you still felt the same way upon re-read then it is even more worthy of being in the top spot. I have a couple like that.

Yea for another crier! I'm another one of those, even when the book isn't that good, but then I cry at stupid cute and fluffy stuff too... 🤷🏼‍♀️ what can you do! TFS :)

I also have a hard time picking up books that I know will be sad. I finished The Book Theif out in public, which was the only thing keeping me from sobbing all over it.

Such a good list! I really wish I could find the audio version of The Trees Crept In... Guess I'll have to try and get a free audible credit!
