@TheCuriousSkeptic The IDC follow focus is a well designed system. One issue with it is the need for various plates based on what lenses you are using. The gear based follow focus systems tend to be more secure and less likely to malfunction, but IDC is very well designed. If your lens is set to manual focus the bearings should not be affected. If the focus ring is worn or has bumps or imperfections, friction based systems do have issues. Matt C.

@BaekHoProductions Hello, the Zacuto and Redrock rigs can be used with a variety of different cameras. They are not camera specific. However with different camera and lens configurations you often have to make minor adjustments to the rig to fit different camera systems. Thanks, Matt C.

Is it possible to adjust the rigs (whether from Zacuto or Redrock) for other cameras such as the SONY NEX-VG900?
