I use Rekordbox because of my controller. But I have used Virtual DJ. I got to admit. Virtual DJ is a very good software. The best thing I believe that makes this software more appealing than the other ones are the compatibility with different controllers. You have controllers that are made for Serato, Traktor, or Rekordbox. This one can use either one and that is with them not even making a hardware controller. It has been around for a long time. And it will stay around for a while.

Virtual for life. I could care less what people think. I believe alot rather virtual but are concerned bout others. You control the software. So it doesn't matter which one you use. VDJ fits my preferences.

Virtual DJ has some features serato can't touch.
But Serato is still a great software!

VDJ allows 2 computers running, serato just 1. VDJ allows have a controller plus an external audio card, serato, NOT. For a gig, i can take 3 laptops, one for lights, and 2 for VDJ, with one for backup, what i can not do with serato. VDJ rules !!!

Enjoyed ur unbiased review, but i still lean to Vdj. Loading decks on vbj it's just a double click or u can drag. Personally find double clicking to be easier. Also when the decks are loaded, there's the autoheadphone feature that serato don't hv, making hearing the next track quicker to hear without having to press a master or headphone button.

The autoplay feature in serato is totally unprofessional... that dead air is a killjoy

There both great, I would trow rekordbox DJ I'm thier but I'm still getting use to it, heads up analyzing sucks, hard drive reading sucks in rekordbox DJ. Just in case anyone wanted a heads up. But serato and vdj are both freaking powerful

virtual dj was the first dj software i usedm.loved it but when i switched to serato due to a residency i had where thats what they used, there was no turning backm vdj now feels so cheap with an ugly ass interface..still got love for it but now its serato all the way
