After watching this it seems what this game needs is a "Re-Spec" terminal for a Fee or something since what works best changes depending on level

Most of those I have early to mid-game. Surveying, in particular, lends a very tactical feel to combat. Survey the battlefield. Find where the turrets and higher level enemies are. Let's you really prioritize your targets. Also, if you go the sniper route, Surveying lets you pick out an enemy and visualuze where the head shot will be, even if the target blends in with the background.

It's not just for planetary surveys.

tbf, you can do Boost Pack shenanigans to avoid dealing with sprinting too much. You can also MASSIVELY over-encumber yourself (talking like 10k or more) and it will drain your entire O2 bar in like a second. Then you can pop Personal Atmosphere (which doesn't actually make you not use O2, it gives you incredible O2 regen) in order to get it back to 100% quickly, and then you can repeat it for the duration of the ability. Made it WAY faster to finish Fitness with much less downtime.

Good list. Depending on your playstyle, I would add isolation from the social tree. The more you level up, the less you need companions(they get in the way a lot anyway) and the damage and resistance the perk offers is great.

Maxed Fitness + 02 Filter on BOTH your pack and helm, you become a marathon runner. For extra giggles you can find Carry Assist for your pack and you can haul around 1000+ weight, long distances easily.

The last assault pack perk has changed my play style completely. I went from a shotgun build to a rifle build that can clear an area with the hard target before anyone pulls their weapon

One thing I want to correct. I was like you with Jump Pack Training, I actually only leveled it up once and thought it was fine. Then I did some research on it, if you are on PC, you want to max this ASAP. Then you can rebind your jump controls and basically Titan skate eveywhere, it is a lot quicker than running!

Good stuff TV.
I used to listen RGH podcast and watch a few of your D2 videos once in a while.

I since then dropped D2, and I absolutely LOVE your channel since you started covering other games like Starfield, Remnant, etc.

Bro! Helpful! As all of your Starfield videos are. Thanks for your hard work. Also, love the way you end your videos. Stay warm and well fed! See you among the stars. 😎
Also, first comment. 😁

Fitness is a amazing skill and should be done early imo, you can do it very fast at an outpost by making yourself over encumbered and running against a bed to deplete oxygen, then sleep 1 hour to instantly refill it and then rinse and repeat... Easy 👍

Specing for sneaky sniper is OP and I love it. Scoped hard target for long range, scoped breach with slug rounds for mid range. 10k damage per shot pretty consistently.

I went to my outpost on Bissell 3 and crafted. I had a large round hab with an industrial workbench and a bed. When I was waaay over encumbered, I ran around until my health was at the minimum it could go, then I would sleep for an hour is is about 60 hours UT. I leveled up fitness, health and carrying capacity while going from my low 30s to level 61. I also maxed out the health Regen skill.

This is very very useful! The only one I was certain was about increasing the stamina, gotta put some more in my list.

my cointer argument to fitness is how good personal atmosphere gets after upgrading it. you can get to the point of permanent uptime pretty easily

Thanks for showing the difference on fitness from 3 to 4!! I had no idea it was that drastic! All good suggestions. I am lvl 101 on my character and have dabble in much, but I've slept on rank 4 in at least two of these doubting the benefit.

Awesome. Love the focus on endgame perks. Keep it up TV. Since Starfield came out I’ve probably only logged in 30 min per week to Destiny 2 (I had over 4000 hours into that game).

Not sure if anybody has already suggested it, but I figured out that I could level up my fitness perk really fast, by becoming HEAVILY over-incumbered (when I was at my outpost, I made thousands of adaptive frames) then I used the personal atmosphere power, because you can drain your oxygen in a second or two when you're so over-incumbered, but then if you stand still for a second, it replenishes in a second or two after that, rinse and repeat. Hope this can save some people some time.

Whatever the tier 4 jump pack perk is, makes you a god that can slow time when you hover. Hands down the best skill in the game, (on very hard).

With Jetpack maxed out you don’t need to run much, you boost everywhere. You do need to find a balanced pack and make sure to use the alternate boost button to get the most out of it. I leveled jetpack early and also 1 or 2 points in Fitness.

If you use boostpacks properly, you do not need stamina at all. Remember to bind Alt as your alternate jump key and use it. Start sprinting, jump, press Alt to boost forward. You end up moving faster than you would by sprinting AND you regen stamina/o2 while doing it. Only boostpack training 1 is required, but the other tiers are great to have. Did I mention you move much faster than sprinting?

The only time you should run out of O2 is if you are overburdened, or you are running around in a tight hallway with no space to jump+boost. It's pretty unusual to be in tight hallways long enough to spend all your O2 and if you are overburdened all the extra o2 in the world isn't going to do much.
