First puzzle is a draw white will win the d5 pawn but he loses the opposition and can not promote his pawn

The second is winning because the white pawn passes the middle of the board . The white king in the key squares for promotion

Puzzle 1 = draw Sure, white can win the pawn but not the opposition. Puzzle 2 = white wins with Kg6 and black cannot save the pawn or stop white queening his pawn.

At first I thought that both positions are wins for white but in the first one after 1.Kg4 Kd5 2.Kf4 Kc5 3.Ke5 Kc6 4.Kxd4 Kd6 and Black gets the opposition and draws. In the second position White wins by 1. Kg6 Kd7 2. Kf7 Kc7 3.Ke7 Kc8 4.Kxd6 Kd8 5.Ke6 Ke8 6.d6 Kd8 7.d7 Kc7 8.Ke7wins.
