* Talks about 900 different things before talking about what the title actually says *

It's been my default for days now.
If Microsoft keeps this up, they'll, over time, take back a huge chunk of the browser market. This thing is fabulous !

For now, I'm staying with Firefox =D

I've been using the normal Edge browser for two years now, and I love it. I hope the chromium edge keeps all the good stuff from edge

I’ve been using Firefox for many years and don’t know why I’d switch.

Still using Edge so as my main browser, never had problems with it and I don't have to install additional software.

Switched over to Vivaldi this year. And boy I didn't know I was missing all those luxuries. Tab stacking, Gestures, Better Ram Management(in my experience) and customizable UI. Only drawback would be lack of sync of tabs in between phone and pc as they don't have app yet.

I'm a guy who uses multiple browsers and Firefox is still my main driver, but having a faster alternative against Chrome will be a welcome new change for me with Edge. OG Edge is still useful for me too so the new Edge will be my 2nd browser from now on.

Same here with Edge-Chromium. I'm using it as my default too. It's already impressively very stable, and it's faster & more memory efficient than both Edge and Chrome. Extensions work flawlessly too. The only features I miss are, surprisingly, from Edge rather than Chrome. I look forward to getting Set Aside Tabs and decent sharing options, but that's about all. I really hope that they keep it light and don't get tempted to add in feature bloat.

I might switch to edge *IF* they bring smooth scrolling from the old edge (that thing was smooth af) and optimize it better for windows. I love chrome but it's a bit rough around the edges (no pun intended).

I plan to stay with Firefox as it is much better with ram than chrome is

Firefox all the way, but if Edge can improve CPU usage and video playback I'll give it a shot

Good to see Microsoft moving in the right direction I think

As a web developer, if the new Edge comes with the same developer tools ss chrome which I think will be the case, I'll happily switch.

Microsoft basically gave up and handed the reigns over to Google. Firefox is the only browser left that is trying (and failing in some ways) to fight Google. If Firefox goes away, congrats on supporting Google's world domination.

Woop dee doo, it's Chromium with a slight re-skin. How revolutionary. One browser to rule them all.
