UPS has turned off its comments on their "SIMPLE AND EASY- How to file a claim" video. It is neither simple nor easy. In fact the online claims form didn't even work. Error messages after I filled out the form. Total incompetence at every level of the organization - in my experience.

USPS lost my package.. can see maybe losing a small one but this was a big package..which makes me wonder if it was stolen. It was scanned 2 days after the delivery date and has been stuck "in transit" ever since.. I spent $200 on the package.. Is it possible to get the full amount back? I am the recipient..

This happened to me today! Ordered a package from a Chinese manufacturer for a couple of network converters tracked them and package disappeared in the US. And of course USPS didn't know anything about it even after I've given them the tracking number. Took me forever to put in the claim! And yes keep all documents and take pictures of everything you put into USPS website. Thanks for the video!

ok now this sucks if you are not selling anything, the items were sent from my family to me. and the item is vintage and could not find another item like it for sale. and as for my elderly parents to have them file the claim would have taken months just to first teach them how to use their phone to take a photo of the stuff, or to send it in the mail. or to go onto the computer to file a claim. The very thought of it is mentally draining, mainly because they are easily distracted, and keep them focused and stop getting off-topic as they chatter among themselves. It makes it hard to file a claim if it's from person to person and not business to person. then formatting the photo into JPEG. it took half a day to gather the insurance information from them. which was mentally tiresome but if my determination to get my money back after the mailman tossed a fragile box onto the porch. glass items that are worth over $120

good luck. I registered an account. Filed a claim. Did not even recieve an email saying i'd filed a complaint.

Every time I try to make a claim...I enter ALL the info. Get to the "submit" button and get the error message "There was a problem submitting your Service Request. Please try again later.". I've tried different web browsers and my cell phone with the same results. So frustrating!

I'm dealing with a lost care package for an overseas military member, it totally sucks to say the least. Since the package was actually lost in CA it never made it to the plane to fly overseas. I've made lots of phone calls and went to their website for direction about how I should file a claim and been given conflicting information. The problem is it was technically suppose to be an international package, but it never left American soil (that's where usps employees have given conflicting info. on how to file: Domestic vs. International). Then all the receipts for 18 items that I purchases over months and months, of which I don't have the majority of, so I'll never be able to prove the insurance claim. It's a no win situation and it's extremely disheartening. It sucks they couldn't just get their job done, so now I have to spend months jumping through hoops. It just makes a bad situation worse.

What about the ebay fees & USPS shipping label cost? If you only claim what the buyer paid & you're refunding all of that to them, wouldn't you also request the label cost & EB fees ?

My package has to ship internationally but its still stuck in "Moving in Transit" on USPS and I can't open an account because I can't enter an adress outside of US. I tried to reach out for them but they auto replied telling me to check out FAQ's, I don't know what to do.

Hi, did you end up getting this package back? Whats crazy to me is that they processed a return to sender but at this point you should've received it back by now.
