First appearing in the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" animated movie, Ahsoka Tano was introduced to fans as a headstrong and reckless young warrior under the guidance of Anakin Skywalker. But over the seasons of the "Clone Wars" TV series, she matured and became one of the "Star Wars" universe's most beloved characters.

While Ahsoka is technically Anakin's Padawan, she also had a close and sometimes fraught relationship with Anakin's mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi. The three make a great team during the Clone Wars, and ultimately Obi-Wan's influence has a huge impact on how Ahsoka views the Jedi Order. Here's Ahsoka Tano's relationship with Obi-Wan Kenobi, explained.

What were your thoughts on Ahsoka Tano and Obi-Wan Kenobi in "The Clone Wars"?

Ahsoka also had a special bond with Plo Koon. I always loved the episodes that they were in together. He was kind of like a father figure to her. And you could always tell she loved and admired him.

I'd disagree.

Obi-Wan and Anakin always had a big brother/little brother relationship. Obi-Wan even said as much in RotS. Anakin and Ahsoka has a big brother/little sister relationship. The three of them together are a wholesome family unit of two older brothers and their little sister.

Obi-Wan the wise and rational level headed older brother who has to deal with two unruly little siblings; Anakin the reckless middle child that cares heavily about his siblings and would stop at nothing for them; Ahsoka looks up to both of them and adapts some of their traits into herself, and creates her own amalgamation of the two of them tailored to her own personality.

Ahsoka is my favorite Star Wars character. I love her relationships with Anakin and Obi-Wan during the Clone Wars animated series. Her character development in the Clone Wars and Rebels is some of the best in all of Star Wars.

Obi Wan is one of the greatest Jedi, EVER. I want that to be known first, lmfao. But I always found it funny how Obi Wan always says that he hates politics and dislikes how they interfere or impact the jedi code, yet he is always the first one to listen to and/or scold others for not listening to the Jedi Council and his masters. Completely ignoring the Jedi Code itself, that Qui Gon tried teaching him, which ironically Ahsoka herself eventually embodied more than any other jedi. Especially Obi Wan.

Ahsoka wasn't wrong about Obi Wan representing everything that was wrong about the Jedi Council. He was so determined to fall in line and listen to his superiors that he never questioned whether the path or decisions his superiors are making are right for the Jedi to he following.

But at the same time, I get it. He didnt be with the love of his life, because she knew that betraying the jedi Council would destroy him, on a personal level. Even though he told her that he would have left the Jedi to be with her. Then after she died, he couldn't ever betray the jedi Council. He has to believe that what they are doing is right. Otherwise, everything that he has given up and lived his life for would be for nothing.

Obi-Wan is my favorite SW character and Ahsoka is up there too. I enjoy they’re relationship and would love to see a reunion of the two or even one mention the other in their upcoming shows. Nice video, loved the voice actor for it!

While I do agree that the Jedi order made a HUGE blunder making Ashoka leave, Obi-wan did try to go talk to her with Anakin, but Plo'Koon stopped him because it was between the two of them alone.

He mostly tried separating himself from the guilt via closing off his emotions and reverting back to protocol with the council teachings.

Obi-Wan was the only member of the council that wanted to stand by Ahsoka

Ahsoka, Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura & Luminara Unduli were my favourite Jedi. ❤️ I also had a soft spot for Asajj Ventress because of her back story and her love story with Quinlan Vos

"Luke, did I ever tell you about Ahsoka Tano? She was your father's exotic teenage alien apprentice..."

You underestimate the scale of the battle for Coruscant. In the novelization Revenge of the Sith, it's represented as one hell of a battle, huge, and it destroyed a good part of the entire planet, killing thousands in the process.

I think the truth about Ahsoka is somewhere in the middle. I think the jedi counsel was rotten and she took the best decision when leaving, but at the same time, she tends to be childish and selfish even in those later moments. She acted cold towards Anakin, kind of blaming him, and that hurt him deep, it's visible. And she abandoned him, not wanting to send any message to him through Yoda when asked.

Ahsoka is right about the jedi, but I agree with Obi wan too: She was too young and emotionally affected. Sometimes both parts are partially right, and partially wrong at the same time.

I rewatched that unfinished scene when Obi Wan and Anakin talk about it as you and many commentators here understood that in a totally different way than I did. So here’s what Obi Wan said: “I will grant you mistakes were made, but she choose to leave. Part of the jedi way is not letting your emotions cloud your better judgment and thats precisely what Ahsoka did, even in her most critical moment.” And apparently you guys interpret it as if Obi Wan was saying that Ahsoka let her emotions cloud her judgment and I understand it the complete other way. I understand that he states Ahsoka precisely followed the jedi way of NOT letting her emotions cloud here judgment and therefore he’s basically saying that Ahsoka did everything right by leaving the order. The reason I understand it that way is the following sentence “even in her mist critical moment”. Sounds to me as if she was even able to see clear in her worst moment. Because the other way around you would expect her to make the worst decision in her worst moment and that final sentence wouldn’t make sense anymore.

Obi wan didn't betray Ahsoka. He defended and stood up for her when the council blamed her, but they didn't listen to him. There was nothing he could've done except to vote against expelling Ahsoka from the order, wich eventually he did. In canon, during the trials, Obi wan, Plo koon and surprisingly Yoda, all voted against excluding Ahsoka from the order, but they couldn't do more. I would've have liked to see him standing besides padme in the military thing, and both try to convince them, but as part of the council i dont think he was allowed, neither was plo koon.
