It’s not 8, it’s infinity symbol. That’s the way the tech sector works. Once you get habitual at learning… you will be much more comfortable and growing at the same time. I’ve started my learning journey from Ameerpet and started my career with 8K as a freelancer helping employees of Accenture complete their Java projects in my PG. Today, 8 years later, I earn about 55L from my Job and about 15L from my consulting work with startups in Bangalore. Not having a job after my engineering and landing in Ameerpet after my friend forced enrolled me in a java course was the best thing that happened to me.

So the bottom line is, learn till you left the job once and for all. Learning and learning only. I don't known when you will enjoy your life.

Certifications are also good to have. My CISSP certification has definitely helped me find new jobs and make more money. 💰

Amazing Videos, Can you please start giving English Subtitles (automatically) using Blink App or Inshot App, as it becomes easy to watch the videos without needing to replay at places where we feel that words are not clear. It does make a lot of difference in the content consumption. Thank you for all the good work you do in sharing these insights.

Hard fact is AI will take over most of the coding jobs. Already many companies have deployed company specific AI models . AI will understand the complete code base and will do bug fixing, feature enhancements, maintenance, support and sustanance. No to minimal human intervention will be required.

Unfortunately, most of the jobs that we do in India fall in the above mentioned responsibilities.

For example, had AI been there in year 1999. Y2K crisis would have not been an issue at all.

IT is becoming just another discipline in engineering degree courses . The premium has shrunk. All said, the intelligent ones will always thrive, . But this is a minuscule percentage.

Being a non technical mid aged with a minimal BPO work exp with huge gaps wants to restart somewhere. Was in one of the BPM giants 10 months ago. Now not even getting entertained for anything. Learning coding languages isn't my cup of tea. How do I restart.

I dont agree with the intro saying we can keep software as it is. Code maintenance is like 40% of IT industry. If you keep a codebase as it more than 3 to 4 months. You will start to see its is breaking because of version outdate which has another domino effect and combined with new tools that gives overall better output. Thts why we dont code in fortran nor cobol anymore, thats why there is so many programming languages. Each has their own strong point and disadvantages.

Hello sir as you said upskilling is necessary to IT person but in india managers and top level management is not much skilled rather than 10+ yrs experience guy or a fresher they simply say they want to hire a new candidate has to upskill and candidate should have all round skill set from start to infinity in respsective technology
Will give an example now a days every social media apps are marketing for DSA courses and system design solid principles etc, so in the year of 2005 and after say upto 2015 and after this type of ads regarding the DSA, solod principles were not seen, so now its happening like a mandatory like candidate should not have stuff in his respectuve course he should have this but for an average or below average students and even experience employees from local colleges they wont have that much ability to learn this things, so in myview they will stick in their companies for long years

please suggest me in this point i have raised

Thanks
