I left social media in the dust. After he left he was posting pictures online grinning from ear to ear after telling me how heartbroken he is. Looked like he was living his best life and it broke my heart even more. I felt like I was dying inside. Still struggling 9 months on, but healing.

I never once looked at anything this person posted anywhere. I blocked them and every one of their friends, even if they were mine too. It was easier for me and that alone made sure I didn't add extra pain to an already horribly painful situation.
