Can we finally agree that he’s just not smart? Never was? He’s just rich. For now.

When I went to school, if I got the answer right I got a tick. If I did it wrong I got an X.
Elon seems to be marking his own work!

What I love is that 'X' is the universally recognized symbol for "Close this window"

What I'm looking for to manage my finances and commerce, is a successful company that's being run into the ground by an ego-maniacal multi-billionaire.

*Musk's Hyperloop...*
When Musk LIED and said he invented the concept of a high-speed rail inside a near-vacuum, the media fawned over the "genius." Then one female interviewer challenged him on the difficulty and Musk said "seriously, it's not that hard" and compared it to an air-hockey table. The PLAN at that point was that you build a tunnel HUNDREDS OF MILES LONG that was a near-vacuum. The train used STEAM to elevate it above the bottom of the tunnel (you can laugh now). Oh wait, it was going to be like $28 or something for a ticket. NOW you can laugh. Phil Mason (Thunderf00t on YouTube) made a video exposing his nonsense... more...
Musk then got a bunch of investors and had a competition with Universities to design the concept vehicle. Musk is so great right? No. It was free work and he mandated anything they created was HIS. And it was all POINTLESS because the best they created was a scaled-down model that was essentially an electric vehicle that travelled slowly and proved what exactly about the viability of the tunnel design?
Musk then changed using STEAM to elevate the vehiche to using WHEELS. Then he abandoned the above-ground version and took it under ground to solve traffic congestion. And the media fawned over him even though it's literally IMPOSSIBLE to even make that work over short distances. And you're going to take all the complexity of building and maintaing roads and move that UNDER the City? LOL... more...
I forget the exact order of these changes but Musk ended up with the BRILLIANT idea of ditching the near-vacuum concept, going with wheels, keeping it under-ground and having a vehicle that can transport people en-masse... and the media fawned over... the idea of the SUBWAY TRAIN.

If someone wanted to make a full-service app that did everything, they should try to make everyone like it, try to make it function well, and try to have it do the things people want it to do.

If you break an existing app and alienate and chase away many users and advertisers, how does this advance the goal of creating an app that does everything that is the most popular app in the world?

If you wanna be successful, you must take responsibility for your emotions, not place the blame on others. In addition to making you feel more guilty about your faults, pointing the finger at others will only serve to increase your sense of personal accountability. There's always a risk in every investment, yet people still invest and succeed. You must look outward if you wanna be successful in life...

Announcing a new service name and destroying the existing Twitter brand awareness without owning the new name"s brand is clearly beyond belief. What a stupid move!

I have filed a patent for the letter X, I use it between the letters W and Y in something I call the Alphabet (aka Google).

I can’t imagine the terror the people who have invested or lent money to Musk are going through.

I think it's becoming clear to even the most ardent Elon Musk fanboys that he just struck it lucky when he invested his father's money in Tesla.
