We love soy curls and buy them directly from the Butler website. I put them in the freezer until ready to use. I like to use a plastic bag (like a bread bag that I've washed for another use) to put my hand in to squeeze out all the liquid from hydrating the soy curls. I then turn the bag inside out and toss it in the trash. For an easy soy curl flavoring I just add barbecue sauce after rehydrating them! I air fry the soy curls (in batches) and often serve them with rice. Yum! Thanks for the video!

I make a LOT of soy curls. My favorite way to cook them right now is to hydrate in a “chicken” bouillon broth then pour off the liquid but don’t squeeze them. I then crank my pan up to med/high and throw the curls in the pan and let them sit until they start to brown and then flip/stir then let more browning happen, repeat until ready. I pull them from the heat and have been loving a little bbq sauce or primal kitchen buffalo sauce. I don’t love cooking them in the sauce because it tends to be more of a dry texture if I do. Or, I will leave them sauceless as a meal prep for other things in the week. It’s a nice way to get texture but keep some moisture inside.

I bought a bag of Butler Soy Curls a few months ago at Whole Foods but wasn’t sure how to cook them so this really helps 👍🏻

After air frying cut up or broken soy curls I make a “not-chicken” salad for sandwiches. Yum!

Country Life has a good price on Butler soy curls. I like a lot of their products, so will probably add them to my next order! I'd been wondering how to cook them, so really appreciate this video! Thank-you!!

My absolute favourite plant based protein! I've tried them raw and you're right they smell and taste gross but are the ultimate flavour sponges! Great tips!

That is delicious! My hubby loved it, even though he’s so picky for vegan foods. Thank you!!

I made these and added extra spices that I like, then made her version of vegan mac n cheese and put it all in a bowl, then topped the soy curls with more of the cheeze sauce - delicious!! A new staple in my house!

Love soy curls. I put Buffalo sauce on them.

I think air frying works because soy contains a fair amount of fat. So they fry pretty okay.

Love Love Love your videos!!! If I wanted to add them to a soup would I still cook them with the flavor and then add to soup??? I've never cooked with them so I'm unsure, thanks!

I was on the fence about buying Butler Soy Curls cause of how much to buy and shipping cost. Then I saw 1 pound bags at local Mexican store for about $4. Made a few dishes with them. I think Butler soy curls look better but that's one way to save $$.

Walmart sells them in the Mexican section. Where are all the Mexican spices are. But they are not organic.
