Today in Question Period the government faced debate on the new NAFTA trade deal which began ratification proceedings this week. The government also defended its decision to include representatives from the Unifor union, which has actively campaigned against the Conservative Party, on a panel that will determine which news organizations are eligible for funding from the $600-million media support fund. The NDP also questioned the government’s commitment to fighting against the opioid crisis, as the Ontario government joined B.C.’s proposed class action against opioid manufacturers.

The only things our taxes should pay for are: fire departments, police, hospitals, and roads. Beyond that look after yourselves.

If the CBC did their job well & with integrity they wouldn't need handouts. Take back our money and let the market decide.

Our efforts against climate change will mean nothing if we decimate our economy in order to get to a 'goal' of 'preventing it', when places like Beijing, New Delhi, etc have more pollution than all of Canada combined. Each. Why don't we simply do something like, improving Coal fired power plants to be as clean as possible all across the country and around the world? And press the developing world to have our level of standards when it comes to environmental responsibility? That alone can do far more for the planet than us decimating our economy to build things like windmills.

Mariam Monsef pretends to be following along, nodding more condescendingly than usual...feeling really good about herself today. I'm getting so sick of this bunch, with their tired and recycled "talking points". No original thought or speech for 4 years, from any one of them.

Trudeau... "we will always defend labour"
Trudeau forced CUPW Canada Post employees who were on a legal rotating strikes because the Corporation would not settle contract negotiations with CPC for over a year.
CPC lied to the public saying it would take months to deliver the mail backup prior to Christmas.
Trudeau ordered CUPW back to work and within a week the HUGE backlog of mail was caught up within a week.
It's now the end of May CPC has still not negotiated the contract that ended Dec 2017 and employees are still affected by Safety concerns.
