I am a neutralized Canadian, this drama makes me laugh and wonder. Why Canada allows incompetent politicians damage Canada obviously on purpose, not simply because of stupidity?

Even Trump would understand a 5 year sunset clause is unreasonable! What is up with this clause?

The only people who are complaining about supply management is Donald Trump, and Canadian Consumers who pay the high prices.

"Stephen Harper" and "10 years": when is this PM going to grow up and start realizing that it's his government which is now steering Canada's economy. He absolutely failed in his talks with Trump, he keeps regurgitating the same boring points. When is he going to be the "fresh and new" PM we've all heard he was supposed to be?

You know the Cannabis "legalization" which is being rammed through Parliament? Well, compare the proposed regs with those for tobacco producers. Tobacco growers don't need a federal license and Provincial permits or simple registration is cheap or free, as in Ontario. Growers need a buyer contract before they grow the crop, and have maximum quotas. They don't need to hire guards or scientists.

You see, Trudeau's form of legalization is designed to exclude all but those funded by big US investment firms such as BlackRock. For naive "mom and pop" operations, the result is predictable; bankruptcies on huge debts required to start up, because Canopy and the others won't have any quotas and will, obviously, crush them like bugs long before they're able to start actually making a profit, in like 5-10 years. You're about to see a bunch of gullible dreamers get welcomed to Trudeau's reality by having their credit ruined and losing everything they own.

We need immigrants to stay as one of the best maybe some don't agree how they come but at the end of the day they all get to work to contribute to the economy so as long as they not working the system I'm good
