This recipe is delicious with roast chicken or my go-to for leftover Thanksgiving turkey! I use the same roasting recipe to prepare my turkey and then make this nourishing pot pie the next day. This recipe was originally written for the cookbook but got cut for space, so I figured this was the perfect time to share!

Yummy. Perfect chicken pot pie. At first I thought she was going to leave out the peas, a most important ingredient in most pot pies! But thankfully, she had peas before the pastry crust on top’.
