Well, Briggs, you went from under 100, 000 subscribers in 2018 to well over 1 million in 2004. Well done!

The lack of sunshine in ct is no joke. All my friends that are still there suffer from depression

I am originally from Connecticut and don’t live there anymore. You have a lot of very valid points. All the places I lived before our dumps. There is not a lot to do unless you have money. There are high taxes and you did forget that there is tax on motor vehicles every year. That’s just one more tax. It’s not affordable. All my family is there and I would love to move back but it is just not affordable for me. Thank you for the video. It’s 2024 and what you said still holds even more so.

So this is basically three hours of our country sucks! Probably could’ve done a 24 hour our country sucks. Such a shame our country is actually like this.

I travel extensively in the lower 48 for my job. I have been to almost every major city in the country. Without a doubt the rudest most unfriendly people I ever encountered was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Nice to see Connecticut up first. I was born and raised there on the border with Massachusetts in the 60s and 70s until I left for college, the army and life. But I loved growing up there and was proud to say I was from there. Tons of good paying blue collar jobs like Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton-Standard, Electric Boat and the like. It was also big in insurance. Even low taxes. One could lead a nice, comfortable suburban life. Even single income families at the time with many moms staying at home with the kids while dad worked. Four beautiful seasons for a kid but some tough winters for the adults. Loved blizzards and no school snow days!
It's a damned shame what's happened to it.

I agree. I used to live in CT until I moved back South. There are some nice places in NE, but CT and RI are not it.

I was born and raised in Spokane and got the hell out of there when I was 19.

The worst part of Spokane in my opinion is Brown's Addition. Most of the houses there are the type of homes that were really nice in the 50s, but are totally decrepit and abandoned now. Lots of crime and gangs and just obvious extreme poverty.

What's nice in Connecticut is the countryside. There are numerous waterfalls, and there's a major dinosaur museum. The entire state used to be a volcanic plain.

As a resident of Savannah Georgia, I’ve always considered hurricanes as God’s way of thinning the herd! You have the storm 200 to 300 miles across! And you’re aware of but at least a week ahead of time. All you have to do is get in your car and go the other direction. When they start telling you to prepare for hurricane season, make sure that you have gas in your car an extra gas in your shed. And some bags ready to go.

Colorado is one of our most beautiful states, in my opinion. With the Rocky Mountains, snow etc.
