used the mi band 2 for years, absolutely loved it and the 1 month battery life was incredible. eventually, the screen became too dim to read so upgraded to a mi band 6, and the terrible battery and oversized shape really was a difficult adjutment. so why are they making it even bigger on the 7?
as the 7 pro shows, this thing is becoming another amazfit bip. i ended up just buying a bip, it's less comically sized and shaped. they really shouldve stuck with the long battery life and small size.

I just bought one of these for swimming. Doesn't seem to be very responsive when the screen and my finger are wet (a bit of a problem for swimming) and when I've finished my swimming, I have to swipe the screen FOUR times to pause the timer. It took me 12 seconds the other day. What's the point of a timer if it adds 12 seconds on to your time?

I don't understand why it's like this.

Oh, and it misses lengths. I clearly can't have swam an odd number of lengths if I've finished at the same end of the pool as I started.

So I've just received my mi band 7 and so far I'm loving it! I want to know what workout option should I select if I'm doing weighted cable crunches at the gym as I'm not sure if it would fall under core training, strength, indoor fitness or freestyle? I would appreciate the help thanks!

I loved this out of the box, but still ended up sending it back because the distance tracking is so poor without a smart phone/4G - consistently 15-20% off. If you need to take your phone with you anyway this thing is entirely redundant.

My Band 7 I believe to have a couple of bugs but not sure if it's just mine maybe defective. Would love to hear people's thoughts. It's basically I don't find the music controls responsive. The volume down is fine, but the volume up and skip tracks just don't work well at all, barely work. Yet they appear to work better when no music is playing, so assume it's maybe a software issue? My Band 6 was flawless on the controls front.
