Some funny Fact post sale service: If your band gets any minor scratch on it then warranty is void. MI service centre will call any software defect as "Customer Induced defect" due to scratch so wear with caution or keep it in wardrobe so that no scratches are there on it and its under warranty :-D It happened with me recently. They refused to look in some non-working functionality due very minor scratch on it, called it "customer Induced defect, so OOW"

I ordered two of these and I hope that they are at least somewhat useable:
It being in Chinese is not a problem, as I have to work on my Mandarin anyway, but the no NFC in the United States is a major let down.

For such a reasonable price, the Pro band is fine, imho, only downside for me: available in China only and no pay functionality, except in China, of course. I've had a number of Xiaomi and Amazfit bands a, nd have been very pleased with them.

Do we know FOR SURE that GPS is coming to the Mi Band 8??!! If so, I will definitely wait, since built-in GPS is the ONLY reason I was considering getting the 7 Pro at all.... I'm not a fan of the "smartwatch" form factor (band/bracelet is my preference), and since I have no interest whatsoever in notifications or anything of the sort (this is, after all, supposed to be a fitness band, not a smartwatch), I would LOVE to get GPS in a smaller form factor....
