Hear me out guys, in DU there is a certain equation that can make dot crits.
And you know BS arcana stacks works similar to Suspicion, they even made it stacks to 99 in beta.
So my guess is they will release a harmony that make dot crits later down the line when they want to make dot meta again.

The only thing we need for the perfect dot team is a support that can make Dot crit or increase the damage that Dot makes. The other member would be one that can make it so that Dot heal the character (like that one SU nihility blessings) and maybe buff the character at the same time

Everyday I learn just how useful Jiaoqui is because of how his ult enables consistency, no matter how fast enemies are, Jiaoqui’s ult field at least keeps his debuff maintained. No wonder they locked his dot potential to E2.

for reference, I cleared the first phase within 3 cycles as well using E0S0 version of this team. I don't even have Huo Huo, so Luocha/Gallagher qqp is the replacement. My Prisoner stats are also not ideal. Therefore, f2p can totally rock this team.

To be honest, the DOT team lacks a good Harmony unit that revolves around buffing DOT or making it last longer. All other teams have their own niche support (Like Acheron, JQ, and FF with TB) We also even got a sustain unit revolving around FUA and break, something the DOT team doesn't have. Ruan Mei might be the better selection for now, but it is very obvious that this team is pretty much at the backburner of MHY basement (As we kept seeing FUA and break everywhere).


If you guys want to invest on DOT, I recommend pulling BS and her E1, it really help at brute-forcing some of the endgame content

DoT needs a Presevation Physical that applies bleed, since it does more damage the more HP the enemy has. just imagine every enemy that hits your shield gets bleed, that'd be diabolical

She's long been power-crept as a healer, but she's still so cute and is to my knowledge, currently the only healer that revives a dead ally once per battle, without relying on any Eidolons. Bailu, as you know, even at E0 she gets the revive effect

Critka.. try it. Black swan is the focus for DoT while Kafka is focusing on damage and exploding DoT, that way your DoT damage is actually more front loaded especially if Kafka crit alot of the time. Combined with Robin, it's one of the more fun team I've experimented.

I pulled on all 4 banners and it’s safe to say DoT is the most chill and fun team I have played thus far. I prefer it much more than Feixiao’s FuA. Ofcourse the latter is much better in terms of cycle and damage, but man, SU/DU with DoT is so fun lmao. Looking forward to getting Ruan Mei, and Huohuo (unless a better DoT Sustain drops) when they rerun!

Dot is still plenty strong, its my second favorite team. Its diverse and multi purpose, but i would like more support for funsies. E2 black swan and Kafka may not has as big numbers as other dps but it's consistent ramping up to balance out. Plus you can toss it right on acheron because why not

Recommended DOT Healer- heals (HP scaling) the team base on the amount of Dot damage procs but to do that the said character needs to absorb 5% of all allies HP and it serves as debuff on enemies.

DOT Harmony support- the special kit makes dot crit and 25% increase damage multiplier or make all dot stack up to 25 stacks with HP based multiplier added from the Dot damage of the allies

We need a DoT Ruan Mei/Robin. Ruan mei works well enough (Because she works for everything), but she leans more towards break. And robin works well, but her playstyle is SP negative (ideally, you use her skill once, and then she never gets a turn again). I never use Robin with this comp since it is pretty SP hungry.
