As a mother myself, I don’t care if my child says “leave me” I would never leave my child alone to burn. Also how is she claiming to not be able to lift him when he was locked inside the cottage? Who had the key to get in and out? Could firefighters not break a window open and carry him out for her since fighting the fire was allegedly not an option.

I find it hard to believe a mother wouldnt drag her son out of the house using her one arm and all of her strength and might. Adrenaline can allow for incredible strength in moments like this. I personally dont believe this womans story. I'm a disabled chronic pain patient and have done some desperate measures to move myself in desperate times. She could have taken a rug/blanket and dragged him out of the house on the blanket- even with one arm. She still had two legs and a brain, water or no water. Its abnormal for a mother to not fight with everything in her for her son.
