It was a massive mistake for the world to allow the U.S. to have control of the internet, and the U.S. is increasingly of the opinion that they can simply shut down or "ban" any alternative viewpoints, ensuring that we're increasingly reliant on keeping them sweet, while they seek to ensure that the masses only hear their side of every story. It's a coercive and controlling relationship.
