This is a follow up tutorial to the video posted about using a webcam to control games:
This follow up shows how to use the same software to use any object as a mouse. Here are links to the software you will need to accomplish this as well as the authors website.

yeh, there is a problem with motion detection software, also with the wii, its not as quick as using a controller or mouse, it has to recognise that the object is been moved then what actions it is taking then perform them on screen, when u use a mouse it doesnt do this, as it knows whichs way it is going and so on

Hey just follow instructions at the top of more info.. link has been updated.. it works as I have a xp running with vista upgrade and just followed instructions on the link and works.. Abit difficult to use though getting use to it..

it's not ur computer, it's the software. they turned off the functionality. i've e-mailed them to see if they can switch it back on. let's just hope that they do.

Awesome is comparing, Windows can run for compadable with everything, and it's faster if it's the same spec with the mac.

it's saying I'm -1fps. when i turn more lights on, it goes lower. when i point a flash light directly at it is like 60fps. when i take it away it rapidly decreases back to -1fps. HELP!!
