Tacoma, 4runner and the land cruiser all share the same power plants pretty much so hopefully there dependable after a few hundred thousand miles or so

I would buy land cruiser or 4Runner over a bronco or Wrangler.

I think it looks good, but I just can't commit to the 4cyl- turbo- hybrid power. With a V6 and $40-45k, I would be all in. Will that Landcruiser go for 200-250k miles??? The first generation vehicles are still on the road with incredible miles on them. Long-term Durability and Reliability are the most important to me.
Time will tell.

6:33 to clarify, the Land Cruiser Prado is now back to North America. The full size Land Cruiser is not sold in North America and is only available in other markets. However, in North America we do get the new full size Land Cruiser in the form of the Lexus LX.

Fairly certain this is only a 5 seater because of the location of the Hybrid batteries. The Lexus is not Hybrid at launch so has the room for another row without batteries. This is the same in other parts of the world for the Landcruiser(or Prado) as it has a turbo diesel 2.8 and can option 7 seats.

I loved this video & I love this new Landcruiser! However, the prices will keep me watching from the sidelines. I cracked up at the comment, when they took away the Landcruiser 2 years ago we were bummed, "they offered us the Sequoia to calm us down." Yes! Spoken like a true car/truck/suv enthusiast. Given my budgets I don't usually have the money for the top end :) Last two new cars I bought were mid to low range, so, my option is cheap or cheap :)

20” wheels on an offroad vehicle is for mall crawling not off roading. Less wheel more tire.

As a owner of a LC 80 I love it and maybe I got one.

smaller LC is great for overlanding
round headlight = 70 series
edge headlight = 80 series

For your reference, LC250 is selling at 33, 500 USD in Japan, top trim is 47, 500 USD 😅
