Things Only Adults Notice In Pixar's Up

Believe it or not, the Pixar animated movie "Up" hit theaters all the way back in 2009. So plenty of children who saw the movie upon its release are all grown up now, and they might just even have kids of their own. Time flies, huh? Just like the house in "Up."

Whether you were still a child when you first saw "Up" or were already of drinking age when you saw it, it's very clear that some of the movie's jokes and themes have much more of an impact on the adults in the audience. It's ultimately about aging, after all. These are things only adults notice in Pixar's "Up."

Up was such an amazing movie. I think it was one of their best, honestly.

I frickin' hate this movie. Shortly after my mom died, I took my dad to see "Up" to take his mind off my mom's death for a bit. Ellie and Carl lived and loved the way my parents did. Then Ellie dies in the hospital, just like my mom did. I never saw the end of it, because I told my dad "Let's go" and we did. I took my dad to the movies to take his mind off my mom's death, and then Pixar reminds him. Yeah, great job, Pixar, reminding a man of his wife's death.

Okay, I'm very angry now, so I'm going to go have some herbal tea and play some games. I'm sorry about the rant, I just needed to get that off my chest. Forgive me.

I Absolutely loved up Carl and Ellie are my Favorite Best Pixar couple ever I can't believe its been 13 years since this movie came where's the sequel? It would be awesome if it got a prequel where it's just Carl and Ellie.

You know, Im really happy that Up has no adult jokes to make only the adults laugh. Those are what really really bothers me. I hate those so much. I feel sad that Ellie had to go through miscarriage and Russell’s parents are divorced but those situations are really understandable because some people do experience them. Even my parents are divorced. I really relate to Russell and it’s okay for these scenes to be in the movie but not adult jokes. I find it irritating for kids to watch and get super confused and adults to just enjoy the adult pleasure. It’s really pointless.
